Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work within the structure of a nurturing outpatient office setting. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, engaging in regular virtual meetings and collaborative case discussions. The majority of your work hours will fall between Monday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings based on patient demand. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments, incorporating the patient’s physical health and medical history to formulate a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Develop and implement integrated treatment plans that address overlapping psychiatric and medical issues, ensuring that therapeutic goals are met collaboratively.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing a range of evidence-based approaches tailored to the unique circumstances of your patients.

• Coordinate with physicians and medical staff to maintain a unified approach to care, ensuring that treatment plans are continuously aligned with the patient’s evolving needs.

• Provide emergency crisis intervention when necessary, delivering immediate support to patients experiencing acute mental health episodes.

• Educate and empower patients by elucidating the interplay between their mental health and physical health, fostering self-management skills and improving health literacy.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary discussions to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• A demonstrated ability to address and treat the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions effectively.

• Experience working in integrated care settings and collaborating with medical professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
