Role Overview Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 to lead the culinary program at Lake Forest Academy , a prestigious independent boarding and day school in Lake Forest, IL . This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic academic community. The Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations, mentor and develop a talented team, drive menu innovation, and deliver exceptional dining experiences for students, faculty, staff, and campus guests. We're looking for a hands‑on leader who brings creativity, strong operational expertise, and a commitment to quality while fostering an engaging and collaborative dining environment. What You’ll Do oversee purchasing, menu execution, inventory management, food cost controls, and production forecasting uphold Sodexo culinary standards, ensuring recipe accuracy, consistency, and exceptional food quality lead, coach, and inspire team members to adopt new culinary techniques and embrace ongoing innovation maintain strict compliance with food safety, sanitation practices, and workplace safety protocols utilize and manage automated systems for inventory, ordering, production planning, and operational reporting What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
