As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.74 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri01:15 PM - 09:15 PMSat01:15 PM - 09:15 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, parking areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs. Minimum Requirements: CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred. Alarm Panel Experience is preferred. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred. Loss Prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
