Job Description: Schedule: Weekend included in call requirements. Call: 5 weekdays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks. Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed. Minimum Experience: 2 years. Clinical screen: Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis. RTO: Max 7 days. Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day. Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Locals accepted - same rate.

Skills: Cardiac implant closure device, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic cardiac cath lab, diagnostic catheterizations adult, electrophysiology (EP) lab, equipment set up, IABP placement/removal, interpretation of dysrhythmias, interventional cardiac cath lab, isolation precautions/PPE, left heart catheterization, maintains equipment, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, right heart catheterization, room circulator, rotablader athrectomy, scrub procedures, scrub- maintain sterile field, sterile technique, use of rapid response/code teams.

Piedmont Submission Rules: Local candidates: Accepted at same bill rate. RN licensure: GA or Compact license required at time of submission. Internal return rule: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler. Return travelers: If cancel or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying + ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health. RTO policy: ALL RTO MUST BE FINALIZED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION NO RTO OR SCHEDULE REQUESTS CAN BE REQUESTED POST OFFER OR ONSITE. Max RTO: 7 days per contract.
