Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that align with the needs of clients.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR.

• Maintain accurate and timely records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Engage with clients to build trust and rapport, enabling open discussions about their mental health issues and personal challenges.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops when required, focusing on relevant mental health topics and community support.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and contribute to a collaborative case management approach.

• Stay informed on the latest mental health research, therapies, and best practices to continually enhance clinical skills and provide high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Premire Counseling, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our client focus emphasizes the importance of culturally sensitive practices, tailoring therapy to respect and honor the individual experiences of each client. Your approach will incorporate understanding family dynamics, unique cultural backgrounds, and personal challenges, ensuring that all clients feel validated and supported during their therapy journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Texas.
\n
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills for providing effective psychotherapy services.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting, working therapeutically with children, adults, and families.
\n
• Experience with various therapeutic modalities, particularly those that emphasize cognitive-behavioral techniques.

• Ability to approach therapy with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds, needs, and customs of each family.
\n
• Familiarity with EHR software and Microsoft Office applications.
\n
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
\n
• Capability of lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds as necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as trauma recovery, LGBTQ+ support, grief and loss counseling, or perinatal mental health.

• Demonstrated ability to provide telehealth services in a HIPAA-compliant environment, as well as in-person counseling at the practice location.

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, providing flexibility to accommodate clients' schedules.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 per year, alongside opportunities for performance bonuses. Our benefits package includes professional development resources, flexible scheduling, and support for licensure renewals and certifications.
