Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides immediate, critical care to patients with acute injuries or medical conditions in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Responsible for rapid assessment, stabilization, and assisting in medical interventions under physician supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients quickly upon arrival to determine severity of their condition.
• Stabilize patients by initiating emergency procedures and administering treatments.
• Assist physicians during emergency interventions and procedures.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and interventions accurately.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Michigan Registered Nurse license and verification via LARA and Nursys.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Emergency Room settings.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the AHA.
• Completion of a skills checklist within one year of application for RN specialties.
• Cerner EHR experience is required.
