Opportunity:

RN - Ambulatory Care

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day/evening shifts from 6:40 AM to 5:10 PM, Monday through Friday
• No weekends or holidays required
• Rotating day off each week
• OR circulation experience required
• Inpatient or ambulatory OR experience required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty required
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), Wisconsin RN or compact RN license
• Serve as an integral part of a surgical team performing multispecialty procedures
• Assume overall responsibility for management of the assigned operating room
• Opportunity to circulate as well as scrub
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 30 patients across 7 rooms
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Pass/fail telemetry testing required prior to start with strict passing criteria
• Skills required include but are not limited to: laparoscopic assisted procedures, open and closed reduction of fractures, wound management, infection control, laser safety, fire safety, malignant hyperthermia, specimen handling/labeling, and universal protocol (time out) procedure
