Start Date: November 2, 2026 (ASAP start required)

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 6:15 AM – 4:45 PM. Call required 2 days per week and every 3rd weekend. Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend. Contract extensions available through February 27, 2027.

Highlights:

• Circulating role only – no scrubbing required
• Advanced cardiac and vascular case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, aortic dissection, laser lead extractions, and complex thoracic procedures
• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with 6 cases per day across 3 operating rooms
• 24 hours of structured orientation based on experience level
• Epic charting system with PYXIS and SBAR communication protocols
• Scrubs provided; float to main OR as needed based on volume

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact license accepted)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• ECMO and Impella experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must be available for call coverage and able to float to OR as needed
• Willingness to serve on Storm/Hurricane Team during catastrophic events or disasters
