Palliative Care Physician

Hackensack Meridian Health i s seeking a dedicated, board-certified/eligible Palliative Medicine Physician to join our successful and expanding program in the southern New Jersey region. This is a 100% clinical role focused on providing exceptional, patient-centered care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings. You will join a thriving, multidisciplinary team—including a full-time nurse practitioner, social worker, and chaplain—to deliver comprehensive pain and symptom management. Requirements Board-certified or board-eligible in Palliative Medicine with fellowship training OR 2+ years of experience in the HPM field. A team-oriented physician with the ability to manage emotionally challenging situations and provide personalized patient and family support. Must hold or be eligible for a current NJ Medical License, DEA, and CDS. HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The minimum base salary for this position is $233,371. Internal Equity : Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty. Budget and Grant Funding : Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
