Alternate Contract Manager
Position Overview
The Alternate Contract Manager supports the Contract Manager and assumes management responsibilities when the Contract Manager is unavailable. This position provides backup contract oversight, supports staffing and reporting requirements, assists with quality control, and helps ensure uninterrupted contract performance.
Key Responsibilities
Support contract administration, staffing oversight, performance monitoring, and Government communication. Assist with tracking personnel availability, training completion, clearance status, access requirements, and deliverable due dates. Help prepare and review monthly reports, staffing updates, corrective action responses, quality control records, and transition materials. Coordinate with the Lead DTA to ensure daily operational coverage and timely issue resolution. Support backup staffing, vacancy remediation, leave coverage, and continuity planning. Ensure all assigned personnel remain compliant with required security, training, documentation, and performance expectations.
Qualifications / Experience
Experience supporting federal contract operations, DoD administrative services, travel support, financial support, or mission support functions. Experience with staffing coordination, deliverable tracking, quality control, and Government-facing communication is preferred. Familiarity with DTS operations, JTR compliance, and cleared work environments is beneficial.

Should be familiar with training and compliance tracking for cybersecurity, privacy, OPSEC, anti-terrorism, local security, and DTS/DTMO TraX requirements.
Clearance / Security
Must possess and maintain a final SECRET security clearance prior to performing work or serving in an assigned alternate management capacity. Must comply with applicable security, OPSEC, CUI, PII, Privacy Act, badge/CAC, and system access requirements.
