Responsibilities Responsible for quality inspection of loads to ensure materials are free from debris such as concrete, dirt, trash, etc. Performs quality checks to prevent hazardous materials, such as propane tanks or gasoline tanks from entering stream for processing. Determines deductions from loads if unwanted materials. Directs all site traffic for all trucks in and out of the facility. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and practices. Other job duties as assigned. Qualifications A high level of attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining safety and quality standards. Strong multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment to include evenings and weekends. A team player with excellent communication and customer service skills. Requirements High school diploma or GED‑equivalent. Must have reliable transportation. Prior experience in Quality Assurance preferred but not required. Basic computer proficiency. Job Demands While performing the essential functions of this job, the Quality Assurance Inspector will be in an environment of field work. The employee may be working near moving mechanical parts and will be in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/ or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud and require ear protection. The employee is required to sit, walk and stand for periods of time. This job also requires: frequent bending, kneeling and standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., working in confined spaces, and ability to work in high/low temperatures. The employee may be required to use a computer for extended periods of time. Communication will be via telephone, mobile phone, email, text and in‑person with others to exchange accurate information.
