Veterinary Assistant

VCA Capital Area Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing ER care team full time!

ER / ICU Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities:

• Collecting patient histories & physical exams
• Medication refills, and Pet parent communication
• Proficient in medical calculations
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients

Potential Schedule: Full-time

Compensation: $20.00 - $33.00 / hour dependent on experience, skill set, and licensure status.
