Responsibilities Develops plan of anesthesia care for patients of all ages in coordination with an anesthesiologist or the patient\'s physician. Implements and adjusts the anesthetic plan for patients to adapt to the patient\'s response. Documents response to the anesthetic in a complete and accurate manner. Ensures the safety of patients while undergoing the anesthetic care and when transferring care to other qualified health care providers. Collaborates with and directs other health care personnel as related to administration of anesthesia care. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Graduate of a COA-accredited nurse anesthesia education program. Experience: none Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Current RN licensure in Virginia and Nurse Anesthetist licensure; NBCRNA certification; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA approved). Other Minimum Qualifications: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
