Night Auditor

Position Overview: Schedule Thursday-Sunday 11pm-7am The Night Auditor serves as the overnight front-desk representative and performs key accounting and security duties. You’ll ensure smooth guest arrivals/departures, balance daily finances, and keep the hotel secure until morning. Key Responsibilities Guest Services & Front Desk Greet/check in and check out guests during the overnight hours Take reservations, answer phones, schedule wake-up calls, and respond to guest inquiries or complaints. Promote room upgrades and hotel amenities when appropriate Accounting & Night Audit Post room charges, taxes, and other incidentals to guest accounts Reconcile and balance cash drawer and credit card receipts against nightly revenues Run end-of-day/night audit reports and prepare summaries for management Ensure all department charges are accurately posted. Security & Property Monitoring Oversee late-night hotel security: monitor entrances, cameras, and emergency Act as the primary contact during emergencies or incidents, coordinating with staffing. Handover & Morning Prep Brief day-shift staff on overnight issues and complete handover reports Prepare registration, key issues, and reservation lists for the next day. Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; hotel or hospitality experience preferred. Night Auditor from Hotel Background is a plus. Strong math skills and keen attention to detail for financial accuracy. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Comfortable working independently overnight with strong problem-solving capabilities. Familiarity with Hotelkey System.
