Senior Financial Analyst

Description Join the Department of Radiology as a Senior Financial Analyst and play a key role in shaping faculty compensation strategies, financial planning, and operational decision making within a leading academic healthcare environment. Reporting to the Finance Manager and CFO, this position is responsible for managing faculty compensation programs, incentive payments, and Joint Venture (JV) profit sharing activities while providing financial analysis that supports strategic planning and departmental growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage faculty compensation activities, including salary updates, merit increases, promotions, incentive programs, and compensation analyses. Perform financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, and ad hoc analyses to support departmental planning and decision making. Administer quarterly incentive calculations and monitor productivity, stipend, and outside income programs. Conduct audits of compensation and related expenditures to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support annual budgeting and financial planning for faculty salary and benefit expenses. Provide JV profit sharing calculations, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Prepare reports and provide analytical support for departmental initiatives and special projects. Salary: $6,541.67 - $13,633.33 monthly Qualifications Required : 3+ Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and accounting Demonstrated knowledge in DGSOM Faculty APU compensation structure, financial analysis, planning, preparation, or administration. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work timely with a high degree of accuracy Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey and obtain information. Ability to audit expenditures and assure that they conform to policies and guidelines. Demonstrated ability to independently organize/prioritize work and track progress of multiple projects. Skill in utilizing a PC to prepare works using Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Word. Working knowledge of University unit and systems such as UCPath report system or DOPE reports, TOF, Recharge, and other on-line systems preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty and staff. Ability to prioritize and exercise a high degree of independent judgment and interact effectively and maintain composure when confronted by difficult situations. Preferred: Degree in accounting, management, healthcare, or comparable experience preferred BA degree in accounting or Business Administration, MBA or equivalent is highly desirable 3+ Experience in an academic healthcare setting
