Required Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with weekend requirements of one weekend day every 6 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates, updates, and revises the clinical education program.
• Providing competency assessments and educational/training sessions for staff as well as establishing best practice protocols.
• Having a working knowledge of all aspects of procedures for their specific discipline, as well as policies related to reimbursement.
• Serving on committees for program planning.
• Providing care for a designated group of patients, including evaluations, modalities, and treatments.
• Responsible for the care of patients treated by therapist assistants, technicians, students, and observers.
• Responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelors Degree minimum for Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapist or RN. Required
• Masters degree minimum for Speech Language Pathologists from a recognized college or university.

Work Experience:

• 2 years previous healthcare experience preferred in a hospital setting Required
• Experience with research and analysis of data Preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

• Current licensure in the State of Georgia in applicable field of study Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Upon Hire Required
