This role offers the flexibility of doing remote work while providing outpatient therapy to clients as part of a cohesive team of licensed professionals. While most interactions occur virtually, we have facilities in Anaheim, California, for any necessary in-person sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions. Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to identify client needs and challenges.

• Developing individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic practices to achieve measurable outcomes.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate progress notes that comply with ethical and legal standards.

• Utilizing therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s background and presenting issues, promoting engagement and healing.

• Participating in regular team meetings to discuss case management, share resources, and celebrate successes.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as necessary to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a variety of clients from culturally and ethnically diverse backgrounds, offering support to individuals, couples, children, and families facing a range of mental health challenges. Our practice serves both private pay and insurance-based clients, allowing you to adapt your therapeutic approach to best meet the needs of each unique individual or family. Additionally, therapists will foster positive client relationships that empower clients on their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field (MSW, MS/MA).

• Current registration and good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an LMFT or LCSW.

• Experience with various modalities of therapy and a strong foundation in evidence-based practices.

• Organizational and time-management skills that enable the smooth execution of responsibilities.

• Possession of a valid registration with CAQH is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Honor Your Emotions offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually. Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive medical and dental benefits.
