Accounts Receivable Specialist

Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsible for supporting the organization’s revenue cycle by accurately processing payments, maintaining customer account balances, and ensuring timely collections. Process and post accounts receivable from all assigned payers within the expected turnaround time. Enter electronic remittance information from private and government payers into the billing system. Research payer websites and other resources to verify eligibility and resolve payment discrepancies. Collect outstanding accounts receivable from the existing client base, ensuring resolution of customer inquiries and disputes. Maintain accurate records and produce regular reports to finance and management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software.
