Manufacturing Technician

Manufacturing Technician Our client, a leader in manufacturing support within the medical device industry, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be an integral part of the production support team, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Plymouth, MN Pay Range: $28.74/hr Shift: 2nd shift (4 PM - 2:30 AM, Monday - Thursday) What's the Job? Provide production support in a clean room environment, responding to escalations from Operations such as scrap, process questions, and equipment issues. Build SME-level knowledge of manufacturing processes, techniques, and best practices, supporting Operations in coaching assemblers. Investigate scrap generated throughout the shift, understanding root causes through dissection and observation/discussion with assemblers. Offer data-driven and evidence-based feedback and coaching to assemblers on scrap reduction. Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and documentation as required, proactively monitoring line performance and driving immediate corrections or escalations. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED Basic Microsoft Office skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and non-technical personnel Ability to build positive relationships with diverse team members and demonstrate strong judgment focused on quality What's in it for me?
