DescriptionKforce has a client in Los Angeles, CA that is seeking a Staff Accountant with prior banking experience. The candidate is able to work either in Irvine or Los Angeles. This position is hybrid.Responsibilities:Daily:* Process approved accounts payable* Reconcile PCBB and Fed* Gather daily invoices received via email/mail and code for approval* Prepare/input journal entriesWeekly:* Review expense GL accounts for accuracyMonthly:* GL monthly certifications* Prepare/input journal entries for payroll and accruals* Payroll backup (Paycom)Requirements* A minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience* Fiserv/Prologue preferred, but not required* Good general banking experience highly recommendedJob TypeContractCompensation35 - $40
