Foundations Specialist Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Position Type: Volunteer Position Contact: Send questions to View email address on click.appcast.io Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for retaining, expanding, and enhancing Foundation giving by: Qualifying prospective Foundation partners for HoPe Cultivating ongoing relationships with prospective Foundations partners Stewarding relationships with current Foundation partners Assists with the monitoring and completion of Foundation grant reports Assists in the grant writing process Implement additional projects and tasks as assigned by the CEO Encouraged to participate in all HoPe Team Events Partake in bi-weekly meetings with the CEO Communicate via Slack on a consistent basis Qualifications Strong commitment to HoPe’s mission and values College student or young professional Be approachable and relationship-oriented Demonstrated interest/experience in Grant Writing, Networking, Relationship Building, Fundraising, Business Development, Project Management, and/or Finance/Accounting Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English required Energetic, personable, and creative with an ability to relate well to diverse populations Deadline-oriented and able to take initiative and work well under pressure Strong ability to plan and manage multiple projects with high attention to detail Excellent time management skills, excellent organizational skills, work effectively in teams, ethical and moral character, strong leadership skills Proficiency in Canva, Google Drive (including Docs, Sheets, and Calendar) and Slack Must be willing to commit for the whole 2024-2025 academic year Time Commitment: 4-6 hours per week. #J-18808-Ljbffr
