Registered Nurse - Acute Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

This role involves 12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled.

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, as well as collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and administer medications as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting all findings in the charting system (MEDITECH).
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• BLS Certification required.
• Current and unexpired nursing license must be submitted with application.
• Licensure hits must be disclosed at the time of submission.
