There will be almost daily Overtime.Location; Houston, TX 77002Pay rate: $23 an hourJob ResponsibilitiesHospitality ServicesProvide excellent client service as the coordinator of the clients’ conference rooms, common areas and kitchensEnsure clients requests for the set-up and use of meeting rooms are handed accurately and proactivelyPlace orders for food and beverages for use during meetings as assignedInspect and ensure that all rooms are clean, stocked with supplies and ready for continual useOrganize and distribute client kitchen suppliesMaintain inventory control and order supplies as neededPerform cleaning, dusting and other incidental tasks as assignedMail/Distribution ServicesSort, distribute and meter US mail with knowledge of current postal ratesEnsure all projects have been properly produced and Quality Checked (QC’d) to EPIQ’s standardEnsure clients request and the delivery of faxes/parcels in a timely matter in accordance to EPIQ’s standardsCopy ServicesImmediate attention given to clients entering Copy/Mail Center in accordance with Opensity Solutions' standard of operationAccurately produce copy, print and scan projects in accordance to verbal and written instructionsExhibit ability to take verbal instructions while taking notes to properly produce staff copy projectsFloor CoordinationProvide excellent client service as the first line of contact with the clientResponsible for the organization and upkeep of various satellite copy rooms throughout an assigned work area. This includes the stocking of general supplies, delivery of paper, and basic daily maintenance of the copier(s) in that areaResponsible for the pick-up and delivery of all mail/parcels as well as all copy, print and scan projects that area assigned to the Copy CenterReceptionWork closely with the client's staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations as the first line of contact with the client's visitorsAnswer incoming telephone calls and direct call traffic to the proper personTake accurate and complete messages for those employees who may be unavailableGreet and announce visitors in a friendly and business-like mannerMaintain neatness and organization of reception desk and front closet areas with various administrative duties as outlined by the Site ManagerQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 year professional level work experiencePrevious experience in a client service oriented field preferredStrong technical acumen to work with Microsoft Office and other software as necessaryWillingness and ability to learn new skillsAbility to lift or move 40 lbs. or greaterAbility to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of timeThe Compensation range for this role is up to 23.00 USD per hour. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.Communication SkillsAbility to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Emotional intelligence is a plus!OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIESScope of ResponsibilitiesDecisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
