It also stands for Baystate’s many opportunities for growth and learning in the region’s only academic medical center and within our community hospitals, and it stands for our commitment to taking care of all those in the community who need us.# **The Cath Lab offers elbow-to-elbow support and comes fully equipped to help you do what YOU do best, provide for our patients!**# **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:*** 4 state of the art Cath Labs and one Neuro Lab which just opened in March 2023 for cardiac catheterization, structural heart, and neurovascular procedures.* These busy labs provide technology and expertise for Baystate’s award winning STEMI program and comprehensive stroke treatment, as well as scheduled cases, about 4000/year.* Staff are cross-trained and rotate through scrub, monitor, and circulator duties, and work as a team to manage the fast-paced workflow.* A supportive, individualized and thorough orientation is provided with a knowledgeable, experienced staff member.* Hours are Monday-Friday, no holidays, with call coverage for emergencies 7:30p-7am and on weekends and holidays.* Call commitment is one overnight shift once a week, and one weekend shift every 6 weeks.
