Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division is currently seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join our team of world-class customer service professionals. This position is based in the greater Salt Lake City, UT area.This is a remote position based from a home office with daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays. As a Field Service Electronics Technician you will provide on-site support, offering emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.You will set yourself apart by demonstrating some or all of the following:Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics from an accredited institution, current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree engineering program at an accredited institution or applicable military training and experience.Three (3)+ years experience working with power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics.Electrical Technology Certificate.Ability to read electrical component schematic drawings and apply troubleshooting, testing, and repair techniques.Strong understanding of electrical theory, battery systems, and single- and three-phase circuits.Strictly follow company/customer safety rules for a secure work environment.Collaborate with Field Service Technicians, taking direction from on-site leads.All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
