From new & used material handling equipment, service and training to robotics & automation, overhead cranes & hoists, power systems, railcar movers, storage solutions, complete engineered systems and more, Wolter is focused on improving operational productivity for its customers.A complete benefit package including:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) Plan with company matchLife InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability InsuranceCritical Illness and Accident InsurancePet InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountEmployee Assistance ProgramInterest-free Tool Loans and Tool InsuranceUniforms for TechniciansSubsidies for Safety Boots and Safety GlassesPaid Time Off, paid holidays, and more!Position responsibilities:Complete all service jobs that are assigned to you.Communicate with the Road Lead Technician on any unusual service problems encountered or for any technical assistance needed.Attend service training classes offered to maintain knowledge on new products, or for refreshers on products not encountered too often.Complete and submit all paperwork daily for jobs worked on (timecards, maintenance reports with customers' signature).Communicate with dispatcher and/or service office as to status of jobs and availability for new jobs.Identify jobs that should be sent to our shop for repair (due to complexity or safety reasons) and recommend they be sent in.Develop and maintain relationship with territory sales representatives to keep them informed of sales opportunities you might see.Always adhere to safety rules and policies at all times.Essential skills and experience:Must have very good skills in repairing powered industrial equipment, with a minimum of two (2) years' experience repairing fork lift trucks and/or other products we represent, to include all types of LP Gas, diesel, and electric trucks.Must successfully complete any training courses required.Strong customer orientationMust be a good communicator – written and verbal.Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.Basic computer proficiency and laptop fundamentals.Must own tools necessary to perform repairs, per our recommended tool list.Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.Must be certified to operate material handling equipment.Commitment to company vision and missionThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must have listening, speaking, and writing skills to communicate with customers and service office.Work environment: The noise level in the work environment can include loud noises, extreme cold or extreme heat, and vibration. Might be exposed to mists, dust, odors or gases, and will be frequently exposed to moving machinery or parts, and power tools.
