Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Fee For Service

Job Overview Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Red Bank, New Jersey. Clinicians must be licensed and living in the state. Competitive ramp stipend for clinicians offering 30+ hours per week. This is a Fee for Service (W2) position with an annual compensation range of $141,000-$203,000 based on 25-35 clinical hours per week. Telemedicine policy: Thriveworks does not push or incentivize stimulant medications; prescribing decisions are left to the clinician’s discretion. Substance use disorders are not currently treated; referrals are provided for severe cases. Clinicians are expected to provide care to a diverse population of clients with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more, primarily adults and adolescents, with future focus across the lifespan. Responsibilities See intakes in person and follow up with clients in person every 90 days. Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing in‑person and telemedicine capacity. Treat clients 14 years old and up. Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed. Create and collaborate with clients on care plans. Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients. Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines. Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at various sites. Qualifications Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certification required. Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state. Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus. At least 1 year of psychiatry practice; 3 years of experience is a plus. Must complete an in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a certification exam. Benefits Remote Medical Assistants Guaranteed.
