Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner — Hybrid Mental Health Specialist

Serenium Therapy & Wellness is looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide medication management and psychiatric evaluations for our clients in New Jersey. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Serenium, you will help our clients feel a sense of serenity and balance working with them to calm their mind and emotions. Diagnose mental, emotional and behavioral disorders and prescribe medication or administer psychotherapeutic treatment in a collaborative agreement with the Program Psychiatrist. Key Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, under direct supervision of the Medical Director or Assigned Psychiatrist, but not limited to:

1. Analyzes and evaluates client data and test or examination findings to diagnose nature and extent of mental disorder.
2. Prescribes, directs, and administers psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
3. Gathers and maintains client information and records, including social and medical history obtained from client, relatives, and other professionals.
4. Advises and informs guardians, relatives and significant others of the client's condition and treatment.
5. Prepares case reports and summaries for client, agency, and other agencies when applicable.
