HR Compliance Specialist

Description Location: UCHealth Admin Peoria - Aurora, CO. Department: UCHealth Human Resource Administration Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $31.61 - $47.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with a combination of onsite and remote work based on department needs. Summary Manages workers' compensation claims from initial report through resolution, partnering with employees, leaders, vendors, and third-party administrators to ensure timely handling and compliance with applicable regulations. Develops knowledge and cross-functional expertise to assist with administration of the organization's HR compliance program, policies and practices. Responsibilities Tracks and manages all employment law/HR Compliance matters across the system and consults with internal and external legal counsel on strategy. Monitors and researches federal and state legal requirements and provides recommendations to meet compliance goals. Manages policies and procedures and is a key resource for related to HR Compliance activity and inquires. Manages day-to-day activities of assigned standalone programs. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements Bachelor's degree. 3 years of relevant experience. Preferred: Experience in workers compensation and/or claims management. Employees are our number one asset.
