Responsibilities: • Increase revenues by upselling and providing additional amenities and upgrades to customers to ensure they are entirely satisfied • Perform an initial pitch to a list of business and referral prospects based on your research and networking • Prepare sales presentations and support materials for prospective customers, such as suitable event space, dining and catering services, hotel bookings, and access to relevant facilities • Establish and maintain communication with customers via phone and email to answer their inquiries and requests • Plan and organize work schedules, file important documents, and communicate with stakeholders and hotel departments about sales-related information Qualifications: • Must possess a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major is desired • Proven track record of sales success • Prior experience working in the hospitality sector is required • Outstanding organizational skills and time management • Demonstrated exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities Compensation: $22 - $25 hourly
