Step into a dynamic educational environment as a Speech and Language Pathologist, where your expertise will empower elementary students to overcome communication challenges and thrive academically and socially. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to truly make a difference in the lives of approximately 55 young learners for the 2022-2023 school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware State Speech-Language Pathology license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility; new graduates (CFY) encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and elementary populations in a school setting
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently, with some supervision if needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to determine eligibility for services related to articulation/phonology, voice, fluency, and language
  • Conduct and review IEPs annually, as well as initial and re-evaluations
  • Plan, schedule, and deliver both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents on effective interventions and adjustments to support each child's progress
