Currently in its third generation of family ownership and management, the company spans six states West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine with 19 branch locations./ppThe Service technician will troubleshoot/diagnose equipment problem and perform repair work on a wide variety of equipment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:/pulliMaintain and repair heavy diesel, gas and electrically operated construction equipment. Repair types can range from complete machine overhauls to minor repairs such as fixing leaks, changing fluids and filters./liliDiagnosing operational difficulties; disassemble and reassemble equipment, replacing defective parts. Diagnostics can include checking pressures, voltage and flow to identify the source(s) of equipment problems./liliWork independently or with senior technicians to rebuild components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic pumps./liliPrepare parts requisitions and enter requisitions into the Companys computer system./liliMust be capable of performing heating, brazing, soldering, burning and minor welding not requiring certified welding skills./liliTechnician will use Andersons systems to document work orders, track progress of repairs and order parts. Focus on safety protocols and regulations must be maintained at all times./li/ulpRequired Qualifications:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent./liliTwo year Technical degree or comparable military training considered a plus;/liliMinimum of 2 years work experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance;/liliMust be able to demonstrate working knowledge of equipment operations, mechanical functions, electrical and hydraulic systems;/liliProficiency with computers and diagnostic programs provided by manufacturers./liliOwnership of adequate hand tools./li/ulpCompensation and Benefits:/pulliCompensation depends on location, experience/skills, overtime: $24.75-$42.00 per hour./liliBenefits include Medical and Prescription Drugs, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, Heath Savings Account, Employee Assistance Program, Paid Time Off (PTO)./liliRetirement Savings is a 401K Plan with Match and Profit Sharing contributed by the Company./liliThe Company supports professional development through career advancement opportunities, transfers to other branch locations, tuition reimbursement, and company-sponsored training programs./li/ul/div
