Eaton's North American Sales division is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a hybrid role located in our Waukesha, WI facility. What you'll do: Work cooperatively with outside sales channels, internal marketing and product teams, and other partners to deliver exceptional customer service and sales support. Grow Eaton's customer base in the Power Systems segment, exceed sales goals, and increase customer satisfaction. Support sales regions to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals established by the business. Professionally manage a high level of daily customer requests through email, chat, and telephone calls. Establish and maintain the highest possible commercial relations with present and potential customers by gaining intelligence on their business and sharing knowledge of Eaton product lines, marketing tools, and strategic plans. Respond to field sales and customer channel inquiries – including price, lead time, and Eaton's selling policy – consistent with division profit, sales, and customer satisfaction objectives. Coordinate with marketing and sales to provide key product and marketing information to customers upon request, gathering data and sharing digital solutions. Provide product and technical information to sales channel contacts to support generation of sales for mapped markets. Be a key resource for orders, providing status information and expediting them as needed. Offer solutions and alternatives to meet customers' shipment needs, working closely with the Logistics team. Provide direction and solutions on process improvements, focusing on efficiencies, increased customer satisfaction, and digital tool support. Act as the key contact for field sales and customers, sharing information from engineering, manufacturing, marketing, logistics, and demand planning. Accurately process customer quotes, coordinate renewals, follow up on orders and quotations, and provide updates to customers and sales channel partners. Facilitate timely responses to customer issues by utilizing available resources or creating resolution procedures. Demonstrate proficiency in departmental software applications, including the quote tool, ERP system, and other digital applications. Train peers and customers as appropriate, serving as a mentor and support for internal teams and departments. Lead project teams and serve as a team member for special projects to drive continuous improvement, team performance, and digital solutions. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 1 year of work experience in product support, customer service, inside sales, or proposal support. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP and Salesforce. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in a customer support role for technical products. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support internal and external contacts within a multi‑cultural environment. Demonstrated experience with the MS Office software package. Analytical skills and detail orientation. Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks efficiently, handling multiple projects independently. Capability to work on time‑sensitive projects, meet critical deadlines, and deliver commitments calmly and organized. Customer service skills and aptitude. The expected annual salary range for this role is $53,000 – $78,000 a year. This figure is a general guideline; salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
