The candidate is expected to ensure that the right parts/equipment is stocked, manage the inventory, and monitor defective returns to Supermicro®.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Inventory Management & Data AnalysisMaintain accurate inventory records across multiple systems and filesPerform data comparison, reconciliation, and validation across different datasetsIdentify discrepancies and drive resolution with relevant stakeholdersGenerate reports and provide insights on inventory trends and issuesData Tools & Process ImprovementUtilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query, macros) to map, compare, and analyze large datasetsCollaborate with software engineers or technical teams to streamline data comparison processes using SQL, scripts, or other programming toolsSupport automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual effortCoordination & SchedulingCoordinate travel schedules and logistics with managers, field engineers, site leads, and customers as requiredEnsure alignment and clear communication across teams regarding schedules and deliverablesCross-Functional CommunicationAct as the main point of contact for the accounting team for clarifications related to inventory files, discrepancies, and status updatesFacilitate communication between operations, engineering, and finance teams to ensure transparency and accuracyDocumentation & Record KeepingMaintain comprehensive records of all communications, updates, and contact points related to inventory activitiesEnsure proper documentation of processes, changes, and resolutions for audit and reference purposesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or equivalent experience preferredMinimum of 1 years experience from high-tech manufacturing industry preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, data analysis, and reconciliation)Experience working with or alongside software engineers to streamline workflows using tools such as SQL, scripts, or other programming languagesExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentMust be willing to travel 10-15% of the timePreferred Qualifications:Experience with inventory management systems or ERP toolsBasic knowledge of database querying (SQL) or data automation toolsPrior experience in cross-functional coordination or operations support rolesKey Skills:Advanced Excel & data analysisData reconciliation & accuracyProcess improvement & automationCross-functional collaborationCommunication & stakeholder managementAttention to detail & record keepingSalary Range $70,000 - $75,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
