Student Engagement Coordinator

The Student Engagement Coordinator develops, implements, and oversees programs, events, and initiatives that foster student involvement, belonging, leadership development, and overall student success. This position serves as a key resource for students by creating meaningful opportunities for engagement both inside and outside the classroom, while supporting a vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming campus community. The coordinator collaborates with students, faculty, staff, and community partners to plan and execute programs that enhance the student experience, encourage personal and professional growth, and promote retention and persistence. Responsibilities include advising student organizations, coordinating campus events and leadership programs, managing program budgets, assessing program effectiveness, and ensuring activities align with institutional goals, policies, and best practices for student development.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic relationship builder who enjoys collaborating with diverse groups of students, faculty, staff, and community partners. Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent
Experience planning, organizing, and implementing events and programs while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present information effectively to individuals and groups.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Troth Yeddha' campus in Fairbanks Alaska. This is a full-time, non-exempt temporary staff position.
