Grill Cook

  RESPONSIBILITIES

• Specialize in grilling and preparing various cuts of premium meats
• Execute all food items and mise-en-place with precision and consistency.
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food preparation
• Perform work on different kitchen line stations as per business demands
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
• Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials
• Adhere to portion control and plating standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a grill cook in a fine dining establishment
• Must have experience cooking proteins to temp  
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
• Strong knowledge of various meat cuts and cooking techniques
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operation
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this position is $24-$30 an hour. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
