We are partnering with one of the fastest-growing utility / civil / infrastructure companies in the market that is starting to build out a strong presence in Data Centre projects. The business combines a strong operational structure with a modern, technology-driven approach to construction, using the latest systems and tools to improve planning, communication and project delivery.

As a Superintendent, you will lead day-to-day field operations across underground utility and civil infrastructure projects. You will coordinate crews, equipment, subcontractors and project resources to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.

As a Superintendent you will:

• Manage daily field operations across underground utility projects.
• Lead and coordinate field crews, subcontractors and equipment.
• Oversee underground conduit, duct bank, trenching and utility installations.
• Coordinate electrical, telecommunications and other dry utility scopes.
• Plan manpower, equipment and materials around project requirements.
• Monitor production, schedules and overall project progress.
• Use modern construction technology and reporting systems to track performance and communicate progress.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Enforce company safety and quality standards across field operations.
• Identify and resolve field issues to maintain productivity and schedule.
• Maintain strong communication with Project Managers, clients, inspectors and field teams.

You will ideally have experience with:

• Superintendent or senior field leadership experience within underground utilities or civil infrastructure.
• Experience with underground electrical, telecommunications, conduit, duct bank and trenching scopes preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively plan manpower, equipment and daily operations.
• A modern approach to technology, reporting and project communication.
• Strong understanding of field production, crew management and construction sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast for travelling positions.
