Human Resources Intern

Responsibilities Provide support and assistance with onboarding processes, including preparing or requesting employment contracts and other necessary documents. Learn and assist with the end‑to‑end exit process for leavers: ensure exit procedures are properly completed, relevant paperwork prepared, and payroll team informed in a timely manner. Learn and assist with absences and leaves: answer related queries; administer employees’ leave and attendance, ensuring all information and required documentation are submitted to the payroll team promptly. Learn and assist with employees’ relocations and international transfer processes. Learn and assist with maternity, parental, and paternity leave processes. Be on the HR mailing distribution list and respond to employee queries. Administer and process employee benefits such as medical insurance and meal cards. Prepare various documents (agreements, addendums, reference letters, etc.). Maintain soft and hard employee files and ensure employee data are updated on the HRIS (e.g., Workday), producing relevant reports. Educate managers and employees on HRIS (Workday) usage. Support international HR projects. Perform HR administration and operational support to the HR departments in different locations. Complete additional tasks deemed appropriate for the role as assigned by the manager or supervisor. Qualifications Good knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel. Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese (written and verbal). Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Attention to detail and problem‑solving competencies. Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries. Positive attitude, resilience, and the capacity to produce high quality and volume at a fast pace. Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities, as needed.
