Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy to clients at our detox center, focusing primarily on those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain conditions related to their substance use.

• Conduct comprehensive assessment and treatment planning sessions to identify client needs and establish appropriate therapeutic objectives.
\n
• Facilitate weekly psychoeducational classes, focusing on pain management and coping strategies that empower clients.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly, adapting therapeutic interventions as necessary to ensure continuing recovery.
\n
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, providing referrals to other modalities available within the clinic when needed.
\n
• Employ an integrated therapeutic approach utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-oriented interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work predominantly with adult clients facing substance use issues and related mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and chronic pain. Understanding their complex histories and treating them with empathy and respect is critical to fostering a safe therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active California License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) is required.
\n
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in providing therapy, particularly to populations facing chronic pain and substance use issues.
\n
• Proficiency in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
\n
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively interact with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working within a detox or rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, our benefits package includes:
