This is a predominantly remote position, allowing our LCSW to work comfortably from home while remaining engaged with clients through virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Genesis Counseling Center, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of clients seeking support, determining eligibility for services and appropriate treatment options.

• Participating actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), collaborating with team members to set achievable goals.
\n
• Monitoring progress and outcomes for each client, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure the most effective support.
\n
• Providing direct emotional and psychological support to families, helping them navigate the challenges associated with substance use disorders and recovery.
\n
• Facilitating virtual counseling sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to individual client needs.

• Complying with all relevant federal and state regulations, maintaining high ethical standards in service delivery.
\n
• Building rapport and trust with clients and their families, promoting a supportive and positive therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families affected by substance use disorders, including those undergoing detoxification and their loved ones. In this role, you will work closely with a diverse population, learning to adapt your approach based on each individual’s unique experiences and challenges. Your expertise will help guide families through the recovery process, providing them with the tools and resources necessary for long-term success.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois, certified by the Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver's license is required for minimal travel related to client needs or team meetings.

• Demonstrated ability to relate to clients of various backgrounds, adapting interventions based on individual learning styles.

• Two or more years of direct experience working with children and families, specifically in early intervention or substance use recovery contexts.

• A commitment to evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
