Overview Papa Docs is a physician‑led medical practice dedicated to advancing care for older adults by addressing both medical needs and the social factors that influence health. We integrate virtual, evidence‑based medical care with community‐based support to meet older adults where they are. About the role We are looking for a mission‑driven, collaborative Physician Partner who will integrate health‑related social needs (HRSNs) into care delivery. The position is part‑time, remote, and paid as a 1099 independent contractor with flexible hours. What you’ll do Conduct virtual visits with older adults and review their medical history Identify health‑related social needs (HRSNs) as part of the care planning process Create and update care plans that guide Community Care Advocates in providing community health support services to patients Participate in asynchronous chart reviews and escalations, as needed Collaborate with Papa Docs’ partners, including operational teams to inform workflows Contribute insights to shape workflows, refine the care model, and solve operational challenges in real time Skills we look for Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, tech‑enabled environment (telemedicine experience a plus) Flexibility, reliability, and collaboration in cross‑functional teams Independent contributor open to improving clinical workflows Startup mindset – highly adaptable, communicative across operational and clinical teams, and sees gaps as opportunities What you bring Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in good standing Board‑certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active Florida state medical license, Florida Medicaid credential and Medicare enrollment required Licensure or credentialing in additional states is a plus Minimum 2 years post‑residency clinical experience Prior experience with telemedicine strongly preferred Flexibility to work a minimum of 8 hours/week for synchronous consultations on weekdays Fluency in Spanish is a bonus Location Remote Administrative support provided to allow focus on patient care Independent contractor responsible for own taxes and benefits Equal Employment Opportunity Papa is an equal‑opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any protected group status under any applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Papa
