education: High School Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger & Month-End Close: Prepare and post journal entries (payroll, accruals, commissions, allocations), perform balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Asset & Cash Management: Oversee fixed and intangible asset accounting (additions, disposals, depreciation schedules); handle bank reconciliations and corporate credit cards.
- Reporting & Compliance: Build P&L schedules, support internal management packages, prepare documentation for audits, and assist with state/local tax compliance filings.
- Operations Support: Perform hands-on financial analysis and support full-cycle AP/AR workflows as needed to maintain reporting integrity.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience with a skill set of GAAP and ASC standards.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, financial modeling) and hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or equivalent).
- Soft Skills: High level of autonomy, proactive problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills.
