Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based screening and diagnostic tools.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific goals, preferences, and circumstances.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate holistic care and optimize client outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous client records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards, ensuring accurate tracking of progress and interventions.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to remain updated on best practices and innovations in mental health counseling, adapting approaches based on the latest research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Your role will not only focus on providing therapy but also on building therapeutic relationships that empower clients through their recovery journey. We prioritize creating a safe and empathetic environment, encouraging clients to express their experiences and work through their challenges with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted License as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in counseling or clinical social work, with demonstrated proficiency in providing therapeutic services.
• Strong knowledge of mental health assessment tools, treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care principles.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with team members.
• Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a virtual setting, utilizing technology to enhance client interactions and treatment processes.
• A compassionate and client-centered approach to care, fostering trust and resilience in clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in working with diverse populations and sensitivity to cultural considerations in mental health treatment.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Previous experience in a Detox Center or similar substance use treatment environment is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
