Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for a contract/temporary opportunity in Pleasanton, CA. This role is well-suited for an accounting professional with 3-5 years of experience who enjoys working with financial data, resolving billing and payment issues, and supporting accurate cash flow processes. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH QUICKBOOKS. Key Responsibilities Process customer payments, apply cash receipts, and maintain accurate accounts receivable records. Review customer accounts, research discrepancies, and assist with resolving billing or payment issues. Generate and maintain invoices, statements, aging reports and related documentation. Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding account status, payment details, and outstanding balances. Support month‑end close activities by preparing account reconciliations and providing receivables documentation. Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with established accounting procedures. Compensation and Benefits Pay rate: $25.00 per hour. Job type: Contract/Temporary. Location: Pleasanton, CA.
