Customer Service Representative

Type of Employment: Temporary (Through April 2027) In Office/Hybrid/Remote: In Office Hourly: $20/hr - $25/hr (depending on experience) Job Summary: A well-established professional services firm is seeking a Client Service Associate to support daily office operations during tax season. This temporary opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong customer service and organizational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment. The selected candidate will assist with scheduling, client communications, billing support, and general administrative functions while helping ensure a positive client experience. Schedule: October through December: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM January: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM February through April: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 6:00/6:30 PM Every other Saturday required during peak season Additional overtime may be available based on business needs Responsibilities: Coordinate appointments and maintain calendars for professional staff Handle incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members Generate and distribute billing documents while ensuring information is accurate and complete Assist clients by providing general information and escalating complex matters when necessary Maintain organized electronic and physical records related to client accounts and communications Support office operations and administrative projects during high-volume periods Provide additional front office assistance as needed to ensure smooth daily operations Required Experience: Previous administrative, office support, customer service, or receptionist experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational abilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously High attention to detail with experience handling schedules, records, or billing activities Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Dependable attendance and ability to commit to the assignment through April Experience within a professional services, accounting, financial, or tax environment is a plus but not required *Strong performers may be considered for future permanent openings Benefit offerings available for our associates include: medical dental vision life insurance short-term disability additional voluntary benefits EAP program commuter benefits 401K plan Our benefit offerings provide employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs.
