Welder (MIG & TIG) – Precision Manufacturing

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled MIG & TIG Welder . This position is responsible for producing high-quality welded components used in industrial, aerospace, automotive, medical, or custom fabrication applications. The ideal candidate has experience working with tight tolerances, interpreting engineering drawings, and consistently producing clean, accurate welds that meet strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and welding symbols.
• Set up and operate welding equipment according to job specifications.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble precision metal components.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
• Use measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges.
• Grind, polish, and finish welds to customer specifications.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe, organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Experience working with thin-gauge metals and precision fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of welding symbols and fabrication processes.
• Experience using hand tools, grinders, saws, and measuring equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Welding Certification (preferred but not required)
• Experience with robotic welding equipment
• Previous experience in precision manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, defense, or medical device manufacturing
• Fabrication and fixture-building experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.
• Frequently lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work safely around welding equipment, moving machinery, sparks, heat, and metal fabrication tools.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
