Job Title: Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Location: Bronx, NY
Type: Contract | 14 Weeks
Pay Rate: $69 - $87/hour
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3 Days Per Week | 34.5 Hours Per Week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Telemetry for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients.

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings.

• Identify and respond to cardiac arrhythmias and patient deterioration.

• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.

• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures.

• Assist in conscious sedation monitoring and patient safety.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for care planning.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems.

• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and recovery plans.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse License.

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) or higher from an accredited program.

• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.

• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience.

• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.

• Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience.

• AHA BLS Certification.

• AHA ACLS Certification.

• Strong ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies.

• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
