Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Bronx, NY
Type: Contract | 14 Weeks

Pay Rate: $70 - $80/hour

Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3 Days Per Week | 34.5 Hours Per Week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients.

• Continuously monitor maternal and fetal status.

• Assist physicians, midwives, and surgical teams during deliveries.

• Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and medication administration.

• Respond to obstetric emergencies and critical situations.

• Support newborn stabilization and immediate neonatal care.

• Document all patient care accurately in EMR systems.

• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License.

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) or higher.

• Minimum 2 years of Maternal & Child Health experience.

• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.

• Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience.

• AHA BLS Certification.

• AHA ACLS Certification.

• NRP Certification.

• Strong clinical judgment in high-risk obstetric settings.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
