Travel RN – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: June 22, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Perform thorough nursing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition
• Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to cardiac monitoring data
• Perform unit-level procedures including PICC line removal and vascular/temporary catheter removal
• Complete documentation accurately using the Meditech electronic health record system
• Participate in hourly rounding, bedside shift report, and patient experience initiatives including AIDET and My Care Boards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to submission
• Proficiency in telemetry rhythm interpretation
• Must reside 50 or more miles from the facility
• Ability to float to other units as needed per facility float policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
• Background in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing with strong assessment skills
• Experience with iMobile technology and Dynamap vital signs equipment
