Travel RN – Med/Surg Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit during overnight shifts
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Louisiana or a compact state
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required prior to submission
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry or related nursing specialty
• Must reside 50 or more miles from the facility to qualify as a travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows and electronic health record systems
